The Hebrew word for sense is

It could also mean a talent or a knack, for example:

They tell me that I have a knack for languages, but I’m not convinced.

The five senses are

חוש הראייה[audioclip url=”https://archive.ulpan.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/חמשת-החושים-4.m4a” /] – the sense of sight

חוש השמיעה[audioclip url=”https://archive.ulpan.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/חמשת-החושים-5.m4a” /] – the sense of hearing

חוש הריח[audioclip url=”https://archive.ulpan.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/חמשת-החושים-6.m4a” /] – the sense of smell
