how to say “to tweet” in Hebrew

My guess is that there’s an 90% chance you’ve heard of Twitter. If you haven’t, here’s the site itself, as well as what Amazon lists as one of the best books on the subject.
When I first visited Twitter, it took me a while to see the connection between the name of the site and its logo of a bird. At some point I realized that tweeting is what birds do, and birds are small creatures making quick chirpy noises… which is why Twitter chose birds as the symbol for its revolutionary concept of microblogging.
To tweet means literally, in Hebrew, לְצַיֵּץ (leh-tsah-YETS). That’s what Israeli tweeters call what they do.
For example, אֲנִי מְצַיֵּץ כָּל יוֹם (ah-NEE meh-tsah-YETS kohl yohm) – I tweet every day (basically, I publish a link to Ktzat Ivrit on Twitter).
