First appearing in the biblical Book of Kings, Hebrew word for tax is מס[audioclip url=”https://archive.ulpan.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/מיסים-2.m4a” /]. Thus income tax is מס הכנסה[audioclip url=”https://archive.ulpan.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/מיסים-3.m4a” /].

Taxes are מיסים[audioclip url=”https://archive.ulpan.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/מיסים-1.m4a” /].

For example:
