The other day I introduced the Hebrew word for habit, הֶרְגֵּל

להתרגל is a reflexive-intensive verb. You can learn how to conjugate it here. Its root is ר.ג.ל (r.g.l) meaning foot or leg, the same root as that of the word רָגִיל listen and repeat meaning regular:

When we get used to something, it becomes regular for us.
