word מראה – appearance is a very old word,
it appears in the Torah
already in Genesis – in the beginning!
in the verse, “and the Lord God made to grow from the ground
every tree pleasant to the sight and good for eating”
נחמד למראה is something pleasant and nice to look at
to see
but the root of the מראה is ר.א.ה
which brings us tons of words
including a modern word
which is נראות – visibility
נראות is a business term
when talking about a brand, when talking about a particular company
what visibility does it have?
what is the quality of its visibility?
meaning, how much does it appear
to what extent do people pay attention to it
