in Biblical Hebrew there are many words
for anger
there is קצף
which is basically what we see in the waves
and so on
there is חמה
which is what appears in the Book of Esther
and there is חרון אף (hot nose)
which is also a metaphor
as someone’s nose turns red
from anger
today we mostly use only the word כעס for anger
well, there’s also זעם – rage
