In the northern hemisphere, people are seeking refuge from the heat of the summer by splashing in the water.

Among various natural bodies of water are:

יָם – sea; יָמִים – seas  listen and repeat
נָהָר – river; נְהָרוֹת – rivers  listen and repeat
אֲגַם – lake; אֲגַמִּים – lakes  listen and repeat

For example:

אגם
קוֹרְאִים לַכִּנֶּרֶת יָם, אָבָל הִיא בְּאֶמֶת אֲגַם.
We call the Kinneret (Sea of Galilee) a sea, but it really a lake.
