עשייה is doing
But it’s more than just ‘doing’
עשייה is a mental state
or, if you will
a state of action
in which a person really
actualizes him/herself
S/he does, s/he gets up
and does things of significance
Even things not necessarily
of significance
but s/he does
s/he acts, s/he is active
s/he participates in the world
So even if we find ourselves
inside the house
and don’t go to the office or to work
and we don’t have much to do
because we’re on unpaid leave
we can still find
some way to actualize ourselves
with some kind of doing
