If ללדת[audioclip url=”https://archive.ulpan.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/חדר-לידה-#.m4a” /] is to give birth, לידה[audioclip url=”https://archive.ulpan.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/חדר-לידה-#.m4a” /] is the act of giving birth or delivering a baby.

So a delivery room is חדר לידה[audioclip url=”https://archive.ulpan.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/חדר-לידה-#.m4a” /].

For example, a nurse might say to an expecting father:

[audioclip url=”https://archive.ulpan.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/חדר-לידה-#.m4a” /]בוא מהר, היא כבר נמצאת בחדר הלידה!

Come fast, she’s already in the delivery room!
