Hey dear friends
I wrote in today’s Dose the word כהה-dark
which is one declension (form) of the word
כהֶה is in the masculine, so that
הוא כהה-he is dark, or, say “this shelf
is in a dark color”, but what about declensions
in the feminine and the plural? So in the feminine
first of all, it’s כהָה, for example
“This shirt is dark”
and the plural is כהים and כהות
There are also examples in “of statements”, such as
כהה עור-dark of skin, a person with dark skin
People with dark skin are
אנשים כהי עור, or כהות עור
if they’re women
