an opponent is a person that “fights” with another person
יריב – opponent, comes from the word לריב – to fight
it’s for example hitting
physically or verbally
now some people by nature love competition
and therefore have natural rivals
but the other side
is not necessarily a person who likes to fight
likes competition
sometimes it’s a gentle person
who just gets into a situation where s/he suddenly has an opponent
there is nothing to do, that’s how life is
well, that’s all friends, see you later
