in the נפעל verb form, a sort of opposite
of הוא רכש-he acquired
“the thing was acquired” and “he acquired the thing”
“(he) acquired” is like “(he) bought”
acquired – to acquire
and לרכוש-to acquire is like לקנות-to buy
But we don’t go into a store and say
“I’d like to acquire a chocolate cake”
We say, “I want to buy a chocolate cake”
And the word מולד-innate
is in the הופעל verb form
which is the (passive) opposite
להוליד-to beget
