I wrote about the word לעדכן-to update/keep posted
with conjugations like “update me please” (to a male)
or “update me” (to a female)
or “update me” (to more than one person)
You can also use a bit more formal language
but not necessarily in a formal way
for example, I send on WhatsApp sometimes to friends
עדכנני – “update me”
It’s formal but a bit jokingly
So עדכנני is to a man
or to a male
עדכניני is to a woman or a female
and עדכנוני is “please keep me posted”
you guys (plural)
Now, (the verb) לעדכן is
You could also say תודיע לי – “let me know” (inform me)
or “let me know” (to a female)
or “let me know” (to more than one person)
which come from the word להודיע-to inform
which is also used in Hebrew, but
more correctly, more commonly
people say לעדכן
