Hey dear friends
I wrote about the words עותק and העתק (both “copy”)
which are almost the same thing
there’s a subtle difference between them
But there’s another word in Hebrew
that means copy
well, it’s not exactly a word in Hebrew
it’s a sort of slang
People say simply קופי
And we use the word קופי when we want
to say that one person looks exactly like
someone else, like sometimes a mother and daughter
or a father and son, or various doppelgangers
For example, if you want to compliment someone
say you want to tell me
“you’re a copy of Brad Pitt”
Something like that
