פרפרים מכל מיני צבעים
ירדו אלי ביום אביב נעים
הביאו לי במתנה
ריחות שדה וקצת אבקה
וגם דרישת שלום חמה
מקרן שמש מתוקה

אז בוא אלי פרפר נחמד
שב אצלי על כף היד
שב, תנוח, אל תפחד.

ריחפו ברוח הקלה
כשהתעייפו, ירדו ישר אלי
הם נחו קצת, שמעו סיפור
וגם שתו טיפה של צוף
ואז כולם פרחו להם
פשוט, כי בא להם לעוף

אז בוא אלי פרפר נחמד…

Butterflies of all kinds of colors
Came down to me on a nice spring day
Brought me as a gift
Scents of the field and some pollen
And also warm regards
From a sweet ray of sun

So come to me, friendly butterfly
Sit here on my palm
Sit, rest, don’t be afraid.

They hovered in the light wind
When they tired, came straight to me
They rested a bit, heard a story
And also drank a drop of nectar
And then they all flew away
Just because they felt like flying

So come to me, friendly butterfly…
