on Yom Haatzmaut (Indepedence Day)
Israel Prizes were given
in all kinds of fields
including Lifework
And two people in Israel
received an Israel Prize
for Lifework
and they are Avshalom Braverman
and Naomi Stuchiner
Avshalom Braverman
has been very active in developing
the Ben Gurion University in the Negev
and thus opened academia to
the Israeli periphery
and the Bedouin population in the Negev
And with his doing
he gave many opportunties
to people who otherwise
would not have had
opportunities like these
Naomi Stuchiner
also opens many opportunities
She made aliyah with her husband
to Israel from South Africa
and opened the Issie Shapiro house

for people with disabilities in Israel
