Sometimes Anglos who are learning Hebrew make mistakes that native or near-native speakers find pretty funny.
A friend of mine the other day said he was planning to a go a hardware store to buy a hammer. But the word he said for hammer was פַּשְׁטִידָה  listen and repeat, the word for quiche.

The real word for hammer, originating in Biblical Hebrew, is פַּטִּישׁ  listen and repeat.
