לנסוע is the general word
for traveling by vehicle
for example, “tomorrow I’m traveling by train to Tel Aviv”
there are additional words for specific travels
for example, להפליג – to travel
in a smaller ship, a larger ship
to leave from some port and start… to sail
because להפליג is actually more about setting sail
and לשוט is the action of travel itself
when you are in a seafaring vessel
for example a ship
or a boat
and there’s also לטוס – to fly
and this is specifically when you’re in a plane
the plane takes off, then we’re already flying somewhere
we use לטוס in slang as well
to say that someone is rushing
for example, “this cantor in the synagogue
is a pilot, he flies through the prayer
well, that’s all friends, see you later
