The other day I wrote about the Hebrew words for young.
 
Here are the legal terms for minor, someone not yet of-age: קָטִין ( listen and repeat) for a male and קְטִינָה ( listen and repeatfor a female.
 
 
If you have a basic Hebrew vocabulary, you’ll recognize the root of these words: ק.ט.נ, spelling קָטָן ( listen and repeat) small.
 
An example:
 
אָסוּר לִמְכּוֹר אַלְכּוֹהוֹל לִקְטִינִים.
It’s forbidden to sell alcohol to minors.
