to enter
So if להיכנס-to enter is the infinitive of “entered”
what do you think is the infinitive of נמצא?
להימצא-to be found/located
Let’s practice some conjugations the נפעל form
Let’s take the word “to enter”
How do you say
נכנסתי
and how do you say
הוא נכנס
הם נכנסו
to a group?
אתם נכנסתם
Now, in the past we still have the Nun
which is not part of the root
Let’s move on to future tense
אני אכנס
הם ייכנסו
What happened here to the Nun?
It got swallowed up into the first letter of the root
הוא ייכנס-he will enter – we don’t say הוא יכנס
we say הוא ייכנס
they will enter ,” I will enter ”
we will enter – well, there, there’s a Nun
but it should be אנחנו ננכנס
But we don’t say this
But in the present tense, the Nun remains
I enter, “he enters”, “she enters”
they enter, “we enter”
or, if we are women, אנחנו נכנסות-we enter
