Transcript of English subtitles

Hello dear friends
The word עמית-colleague means “an other”
the one standing opposite me
so it is also related to the word “versus”
this versus that
Why? Because לעומת-versus means “that which stands opposite something else”
The word עמית is probably also related to the words עִם-with
which is two things connected to each other
and also, probably, to the word עַם-nation
which is people connected together
And when people in the nation, say
want to compete with each other
then they can להתעמת-confront each other
Well, that’s all friends, see you later
