I am here at the port of Jaffa
one of the oldest ports in the world and
when I say נמלים I do not mean
נמלים-ants on the floor, on the ground
but “ports” like the port
I am at now
You can see the relatively ancient
area the
neighborhood looks ancient
and in the background the city of Tel Aviv
which is much newer
Anyway, this port is
no longer as active as it used to
be, with the import and export
The larger ports in Israel
are in Ashdod and Haifa and Eilat
but still, today
there are yachts here
and there are fishermen
and there is mainly an attraction
of restaurants and happening.
