and therefore, חופשי חודשי-free monthly (monthly pass)
is a card that you buy one time
paying a single amount
and that way you can to use public transportation
freely that whole month
In the same way there’s also a daily pass
and a yearly pass
If we want to speak about something that happens
once every two months, we say דו חודשי-bimonthly
and something that happens twice a month
is חצי חודשי-semi (half) monthly
