Not אווירון-airplane, rather עיוורון
comes from the word עיוור, which is a person
who doesn’t see, and to cause someone
to be blind is לעוור-to blind
But in English, one can say “to blind”
with two meanings, one is to cause someone
to be blind long-term
but there’s another meaning, which is
to cause someone to be blind
for a short term. In Hebrew we don’t say
לעוור-to blind in this context, we say לסנוור
For example, that light, there, above
that is shining on me now
is also blinding me a bit
