חוזה שכירות This past Tuesday I did a workshop at AACI Jerusalem entitled “Decoding the Bills.” It’s the second of a three-part series called “Getting Things Done… in Hebrew.” I’m giving part three, “Phoning Israeli Companies”, this coming Tuesday at 10am, and then the series again in August (contact AACI for details or browse this page). If you’re able, come by. I’m almost certain you’ll enjoy it and learn something useful.
Here’s the vocabulary builder I’ve constructed based on the workshop. If you’re living in Israel, I hope it’ll help you decode those Hebrew bills.
One of the words featured on the workshop was that which refers to a contract – חוֹזֶה ( listen and repeat). The word חוזה comes from the root ח.ז.ה (kh.z.h), a higher-language root meaning seeing. A contract – a חוזה – is a document that lays out a vision of the future interaction between two or more parties.
