For example:

הם גרים בראש גבעה, שמשקיפה על ים המלח.

They live on the top of a hill, overlooking the Dead Sea.

More than one גבעה is גבעות
. The word appears in the colorful expression:

הבטיחו לו הרים וגבעות.

They promised him the world (mountains and hills).
