that the word לקטול – to slay includes the root
ק.ט.ל
it’s a word from Aramaic actually
it also appears in Hebrew but
it’s mainly from Aramaic
and linguists for some reason
when they wanted to describe the Aramaic verb
they took the root ק.ט.ל
as an example, for example
I slayed, you slayed, he slayed, she slayed
etc.
why? maybe they’s sadistic or something like that
