Yesterday we saw that the Hebrew word for to lock is לנעול[audioclip url=”https://archive.ulpan.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/לנעול-נעליים-#.m4a” /].
Well, it turns out that לנעול also means to wear or to put on… when speaking about shoes.
For example:

I’m not 100% sure the two לנעולs are actually related, but if they are, the one about putting on shoes probably has something to do with locking them or securing them to one’s feet.
