how to say “to identify” in Hebrew

Explosives were planted yesterday on a public phone opposite בִּנְיָנֵי הָאוּמָה (been-yah-NEH-ee hah-oo-MAH) – The Buildings of the Nation. Had a man not noticed the suspicious-looking phone and alerted a group of teenagers standing by it to move away, the tragic attack of pure terror could have been a lot more so.
The one woman killed (among many who lost limbs, etc) in yesterday’s attack – זֹהֲתָה (zoh-hah-TAH) – was identified – as a foreign worker (her name doesn’t appear in the article, which you can translate roughly using Google Translate).
זוהתה is a usage of the פועל (poo-AHL) verb form. It’s also the passive version of the פיעל (pee-EL) verb, to identify – לְזַהוֹת (leh-zah-HOHT).
