[audioclip url=”https://archive.ulpan.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/אחרת-#.m4a” /]אַחֶרֶת

You may know the word אחר[audioclip url=”https://archive.ulpan.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/אחרת-#.m4a” /] – other/another or different, and its feminine version אחרת[audioclip url=”https://archive.ulpan.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/אחרת-#.m4a” /], as in:

I’ll go to different grocery shop.

But did you know that אחרת also means otherwise

Here’s an example:

Cover yourself up in a blanket, Sarah, otherwise you’ll be cold.
