Hebrew has two words for to fly in the air: there’s לעוף[audioclip url=”https://archive.ulpan.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/טיסה-#.m4a” /], which is for living beings, and לטוס[audioclip url=”https://archive.ulpan.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/טיסה-#.m4a” /] for aircraft of various types.

flight, therefore, is טיסה[audioclip url=”https://archive.ulpan.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/טיסה-#.m4a” /].

For example:
