when talking about both of them
for example – eyes, ears
nostrils
lips, hands, etc.
Also for objects that come in pairs
we use -aym at the end
to talk about the pair
for example – משקפיים-glasses
What do you do when you want to talk about more than two?
So, usually we just say “a few pairs”
There are “two pairs of glasses”, “two pairs of eyes”
but when you want to say “a lot of” … these
we don’t say עינים or something like that
We just say עיניים even though it is more than two
