conversation: different spellings for the same word in Hebrew

בין מילים כמו “יכתב”
ו”ייכתב”.

בין מילים כמו “מִדבר”
ו”מְדבר” בלי ניקוד?

– לפי ההקשר.

vowels, we write in “full script.”

– Because it makes reading easier.
That way we can tell the difference
between “will CC” (to email) and
“will be written”.

– But how do you tell the difference
between words like “desert”
and “speaking” without vowels?

– By context.
