I wrote that one can ask nicely
but how does one actually ask nicely in Hebrew?
I bet you know the word בבקשה-please
which is actually ב-with בקשה-request, בקשה
is a noun form of the word לבקש-to ask for/to request
But there are other words as well
for example אנא, which is a bit formal
and “if you would care in your goodness” (for m and f)
which is very formal, very polite
and usually people use it sarcastically
And if we want to beg, so we can say
“I am asking in every term (language) of request”
because, after all, there are several terms of request
