appears already in the Bible, and it’s rare
that there’s a four-letter root in the Bible
So there’s one etymologist who explains
that the original root is כ.ב.ל (binding)
מכורבל-wrapped was really originally מכובָּל
and the B sound of the ב split into two sounds
