The Hebrew word עולם[audioclip url=”https://archive.ulpan.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/להיעלם-#.m4a” /] means world, but it also means eternity, and carries with it all the mystery that eternity has to offer. Thus it’s no surprise that the word for to disappear – להיעלם[audioclip url=”https://archive.ulpan.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/להיעלם-#.m4a” /] – comes from the same root.
