in Hebrew, לוח is very common
there’s “whiteboard”, there’s “control panel (board)”
there’s “timetable” (times board)
but, when talking about the board we type on
we say מקלדת and “board of typing”
you may have noticed לוח is masculine
but in the plural it’s לוחות
It sounds like the word is feminine
but is not feminine because
when you want to say “whiteboards” you say
לוחות מחיקים
not לוחות מחיקות
because the word in the singular
is לוח which is masculine
so the adjective is in the masculine
even if in the plural it does not sound like it
לוח מחיק becomes לוחות מחיקים
