נגמר – Over

אני יושב עכשיו קרוב אל השמיים,
מנסה למצוא תשובות לשאלה,
על הדרך גם חולץ ת’נעליים
חיילים עכשיו עוזבים ת’מרכבה…
כן אני יושב שם, חושב
קצת עלייך, להכאיב מעט ללב,
את המשפט הבא את בטח מכירה,
יום-יומיים אני בא בחזרה..

נגמר..נגמר..
נגמר?

ובדרך כשיצאנו אל הבית,
אז עצרנו בפלאפל בפינה
ואנשים שם הסתכלו מחאו כפיים,
“הגיבורים שלנו” אמרו באהבה..
ואני עומד שם מסתתר,
קצת גדול עלי להיות זה ששומר
ובין ביס לביס עולה בי מחשבה,
לעזאזל כמה גיבורים יש במדינה..

נגמר..נגמר..
נגמר?

ומאז אפשר למנות כמעט שנתיים
והיום אני עסוק בהשלמה,
בעוד רגע כבר אשמע את הכפיים
ואז אצעק בכל כוחי מהבמה..
ואם שומעים אם מקשיבים,
עוד אפשר למצוא כאב בין המילים
ומבטיח לא אכתוב על זה יותר,
רק בפעם הבאה שאשבר..

נגמר..נגמר..
נגמר?

יש מדינה אחת על יד ירושלים,
שם עדיין משתוללת מלחמה,
כי אנשים שם מאבדים את העיניים,
לא מחכים לגיבורים באף פינה..

נגמר. נגמר.
נגמר.

I’m sitting here close to the sky,
Trying to find answers to the question,
On the way I take off my shoes
Soldiers are now leaving the Merkava…
Yes, I sit there, thinking
A bit about you, to hurt the heart a bit,
The next sentence you surely know,
In a day or two I’m coming back..

It’s over..over..
Over?

On the way when we started going home,
So we stopped at the falafel place on the corner
People there looked and clapped their hands,
“Our heroes” they said with love..
And I stand there hiding,
It’s a bit big on me to be the one on guard
And between bites I have a thought,
To hell, how many heroes we have in the State..

It’s over..over..
Over?

And since then you can count almost two years
And today I’m busy coming to terms,
In another moment I’ll hear the applause
I’ll scream with all my might from the stage..
And if you hear if you listen,
You can still find pain between the words
And I promise not to write about this more,
Only next time when I break down..

It’s over…over..
Over?

There’s one state next to Jerusalem,
Where there’s still a war raging,
Because people there are losing their eyes,
They don’t wait for heroes on any corner..

It’s over. Over.
Over.
