In English we say “you’re right”
and in Hebrew we say “you’re right” (to a male)
or “you’re right” (to a female), or “you guys are right”
or, if we’re speaking to a group of
only women or girls, “you’re right”
In other languages there’s something similar
In Spanish there’s tiene razón
meaning, “you have justice”
or “you have reason”, same thing
in French, vous avez raison
and also in Arabic there’s “al-haq ma’ak”
meaning that “the right is with you”
But in Hebrew it’s a real verb
אתה צודק-you’re right (m)
אתה צדקת- you were right (m, in the past)
It isn’t an adjective as in English
“you are right”, it’s a real verb
that can be conjugated
Which is very similar to emotions
like anger – “I am angry”, “I was angry”
and joy – “I am happy”, “I was happy”
