and this root brings us a few

a common last name, especially among
celebrities like Eden Hason and Shahar Hason
but this word also has a meaning
A חסון person is a strong person, and we could
say that a person has a sturdy body
I thought perhaps there’s a connection between
between the name Hussein in Arabic
as in Saddam Hussein
and the word חסון in Hebrew
And it turns out there isn’t, because there the
parallel root to “sturdy”, meaning “immune”
“strong”, is kh.sh.n, and in the name Hussein
it’s h.s.n – it’s not Khushein
