[audioclip url=”https://archive.ulpan.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/טעימה-#.m4a” /]טְעִימָה
You may know the Hebrew word for tasty – טעים[audioclip url=”https://archive.ulpan.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/טעימה-#.m4a” /] for something grammatically masculine, and טעימה[audioclip url=”https://archive.ulpan.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/טעימה-#.m4a” /] for something feminine.
For example:
[audioclip url=”https://archive.ulpan.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/טעימה-#.m4a” /]איזה סלט טעים!
What a tasty salad!
Anticlimactically, Hebrew doesn’t have a word for delicious, so we just say מאוד טעים[audioclip url=”https://archive.ulpan.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/טעימה-#.m4a” /] – very tasty.
What about a tasting or a sampling? That’s also טעימה, as in:

May I have just a taste (a tasting)?
and

We did wine tastings at different wineries in the north.
