The letter צ today has just one sound, ts

Abu Zhobi, the zh sound in Arabic is ts in Hebrew
is the letter צ in Hebrew, and also in Arabic

both in Arabic, two different sounds
that in Hebrew, there was one letter that represented
both sounds. Via Aramaic
we can see that there was another sound
because in Aramaic there was the letter ע instead of צ
as in the word צאן-sheep – in Aramaic, ענא
and of course, there’s also s, which in Arabic is
the letter Sod, and in Hebrew צ, that the traditional
Sephardic pronunciation of the letter צ
is Sodi, as we also find among Yemini (Jews)
