In Hebrew we say אאוטסורסינג (outsourcing)
We don’t say מיקור חוץ (outsourcing)
even though there’s such a word, such a term
מיקור חוץ – almost no one
says it, besides people in academia
There are a few other words like this in Hebrew
or, actually, in English, like בלקאאוט (blackout)
How do I say that I forgot something? “I have a בלקאאוט”
But there’s no (word for) blackout in Hebrew
at least as far as I know
Also, another word that’s said in English only
that we say also in Hebrew
but with a slightly different meaning
In Hebrew we say סורי (sorry), when we want
to say sorry, but we don’t really
mean it, like “sorry…”
“…I can’t help you”
