Laughing is one of the most enjoyable of all human activities. To crack up, to fall off one’s seat, to die of laughter – these all have equivalents in Hebrew, though the most widely-used is לְהִתְפַּקֵּעַ מִצְּחוֹק. It means, literally, to burst from laughter.
